How to pave the way for a clean circular economy

For decades, we have manufactured products, used them and discarded them. It is of no surprise that large amounts of valuable resources have been lost through our waste and ways of life. 

Just a year ago in 2016, the European Council adopted an action plan for a circular economy. A circular economy is one that promotes greater resource productivity by design or intention, and your product – or parts of it – remain in circulation even after their typical lifespan.  

In this respect, avoiding problematic substances is key in the transformation towards a circular economy. Margrethe Winther-Nielsen, our R&D Program Manager of Environment and Toxicology department shares in this 10th episode of Tech Talk.
