Seventh Danish annual water research event concludes successfully

The annual meeting on the Danish water research and innovation platform was held on 31 January 2013. Organised by the Danish Water Forum, it was the seventh such event to be held consecutively. We have been participating members ever since its establishment in 2006.

Various Danish and foreign researchers gathered at the event to share the latest developments in water research. More than 40 speakers in several parallel sessions, including speakers from DHI, presented results from their research. Public authorities and ministries presented national and international trends. They also linked the new legislation to demands for new innovation and research.

The Danish water sector has several closely cooperating entities. These include end-users, supply companies, universities and ministries. This interaction ensures that research and innovation is targeted towards present and future challenges in an active and aware environment.
