Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand visits DHI head office

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand visited DHI's head office in Hørsholm, Denmark on 11 March 2013. She was received by CEO Asger Kej, who spoke about our knowledge and technological expertise. During the visit, Her Royal Highness visited our hydraulic modelling laboratories and learned more about our quest to tackle global challenges in water environments.

Of special interest to Her Royal Highness and her delegation was our long history of collaboration with Thai authorities, universities and companies. Our river modelling system "MIKE11" has been widely used in the country for flood forecasting and water resources management, as well as for river engineering projects. Our models are available for most Thai river basins, including Thailand's main one, the Chao Phraya.
