Danish Prime Minister meets with us on South African visit

During a recent state visit to South Africa, Danish Prime Minister – Helle Thorning-Schmidt – met with representatives of a few South-African/Danish companies in Pretoria. These individuals included Jason Hallowes from DHI SA as well as Ole Hjelmar (DHI DK). The meetings were aimed at discussing business opportunities and conditions in South Africa.

The Prime Minister visited South Africa to reconfirm the strong friendship and strengthen commercial relations between the two countries. A tangible result was the signing of a new agreement on renewable energy cooperation. She also highlighted key Danish business competences which can meet crucial demands in the South African market, and pave the way for new business alliances.

During the course of this visit, the Prime Minister also met face-to-face with a powerful group of Danish and South African business leaders, in order to discuss opportunities and future cooperation.
