HydroVision Asia – a new company targets water flow and sediment measurements

Many industrial applications deal with fluids in complex pipe systems. Measuring flow velocity in such systems is a challenging and often cost-intensive task.

Many industrial applications deal with fluids in complex pipe systems. Measuring flow velocity in such systems is a challenging and often cost-intensive task. HydroVision Asia Pte Ltd is a new company developing innovative technologies to make flow and sediment measurements easier and cheaper and the same time. Our products are reliable and easy to use, and do not require further maintenance or calibration. Applications for the water flow and sediment meter lie e.g. within the water supply sector, water treatment and power plants, the food industry and custody transfer.

A first product called ReVision has been launched last week at Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2012. Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong visited HydroVision Asia’s booth at SIWW on the opening day, July 1, to learn about the new products and technologies.

HydroVision Asia Pte Ltd is a spin-off from the fruitful cooperation of HydroVision Germany and DHI Water and Environment (S) Pte Ltd. In 2010, DHI was awarded a research fund from EWI (Environment and Water Industry Programme Office) for the Industry-led grant call. During the last two years, two new technologies and three new products have been developed in the project.
